Foundation Recreation Class
The recreational Foundation classes are our starting point for young gymnasts. Children who are four and over start their gymnastics experience with us here, receiving a well balanced programme of gymnastics activities.
Activities here include floor work, vaulting and rebound activities, all of which helps the children to achieve a solid foundation of gymnastics skills on which to build. Gymnasts in these classes also get the opportunity to begin working towards their skill and activity proficiency awards which recognise and reward their ongoing achievements.
These classes are one hour sessions taking place mainly in our dedicated Teaching Gym.
Foundation class parents are required to stay and accompany their children, to encourage them and to observe the excitement of these classes.
